Welcome to the Whealton Extended Family Genealogy Website.
This website was created by Bruce Whealton.
However, I want to invite others to use the software that I have here to help expand the amount of information that we have available.

This website started as a project of mine and a way for me to learn how to develop a Semantic Web Application or database. This site was started to address the need of local non-profits but it has a potential reach that is much greater. So, we'd want to create ways to organize the site and categorize what we have. Location should probably be a Semantic Property and not a Category. It seems best to have a Category named Resource and then sub-categores that are more specific.
This site depends on collaboration.
As an example of using queries to display data from different articles or pages on the site, using Semantic Web Technologies, I present the two sections below that display the results of two different queries using first the information that we have on the organizations listed and second a Genealogy example.
